Summary

The Good

I think the idea has potential. I don't know if I am the target end-user and I'm certainly not the target business owner, but I like the overall idea of trying it out and seeing where it takes you.

The Bad

It's a pure chicken-egg problem, but in a larger magnitude. I think businesses are not going to want to add another software to their already overloaded computers. Definitely need integration, and if you have it, openly advertise that you do.

The Bottom Line

Like all of these ideas, it is hard to say at the beginning. I'm not sure how much pre-market validation you all received, but I think it could go either way. As said before, I'd definitely remove the call for discounts, as that will make a business owner wonder if he or she must offer them to get on the platform.

Missing Features

I haven't downloaded the app to test it, so I'm not going to answer it, but I have to put something here to fill the 150 character minimum..............

Monetization

Honestly, I'd be charging the businesses, but you could also charge the end-users. There are all sorts of little value added services you could put on it.

First Impression is Average

I've seen quite a few of these sorts of apps around, especially here in Austin. I'm personally lukewarm to these kinds of businesses, but I'd like to be the first reviewer.

Overall Idea is Average

While I agree that this is a space that deserves to be served, I also understand how difficult it is to break into this area due to the complexities of businesses balancing sales and customer service along with software integration.
With that said, I don't like the discount angle. Of course, if a business wishes to advertise this, that's great, but at the end of the day, you have to get businesses before users. The users generally won't care too much about the discounts, I don't think.

Idea Realization is Average

I think adding the "sign up for free" link is nice, but I think it cheapens the idea a bit. Not only does it being free signal that you are looking for sign ups, but what are the hidden costs, and if you aren't making money, how do you stay alive?

User Experience is Average
